Smiles could lead to a free meal in Tardebigge

Redditch Editorial 28th Sep, 2015 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

REDDITCH residents are being encouraged to break into a smile this Friday (October 2) to be in with the chance of getting a free meal.

In celebration of World Smile Day, staff at the New Tardebigge Fayre and Square on Hewell Lane, will reward cheery visitors with a free meal – providing they wish their server a ‘Happy Smile Day’.

The first ten visitors who say the greeting when ordering their meal will be able to chose from a half or whole chicken or a crisp schnitzel-style chicken breast.

To complete their chicken feast, guests will also be able to choose two sides to accompany their meal.

Founded in 1999, World Smile Day originated as the brainchild of Massachusetts artist Harvey Ball who decided that on the first Friday of October each year, everyone should dedicate the day to smiles and acts of kindness.
