VISITORS to Redditch Borough Council’s customer service centres can brush up on their internet skills or even take the online plunge.
As part of the ninth annual ‘Get Online’ campaign, which runs from October 12-18, advisors will be on hand to show visitors what services are available at their fingertips.
Redditch Borough Council Leader Councillor Bill Hartnett said: “The theme of this year’s campaign is about Making life easier – and being able to access services 24/7 is important in this day and age.
“Of course we still welcome our customers to come and see us – but want to arm them with the skills to get the service they want, when they want.”
And it’s not just Council services like housing benefit and council tax support that customers can access – advisors will show internet newcomers what other information and ways of communicating they can access.
