REDDITCH Rotary Club welcomed the editor of the Redditch Standard, Ross Crawford, as guest speaker at their weekly meeting held at The Abbey Hotel and Golf Club.
He addressed an audience of Rotarians, and guests including Rachel Hinton, assistant district governor of District 1060, Kelly Whitehouse, Worcestershire fund-raising manager for Macmillan Cancer Support, and Hayley Sanders, a local private client lawyer. He gave listeners an insight into the workings and values of the Redditch Standard and the future challenges and opportunities facing the media industry as a whole.
Redditch Rotary meets weekly at the Abbey and members enjoy a regular list of top speakers and events as well as doing their bit to help local charities.
