TEAMS of golfers from a Redditch-based vacuum pump and air compressor manufacturer have swung their way to fund-raising success in the name of Cancer Research UK.
Staff from Gardner Denver raised over £4,500 for the charity during its annual charity golf day at Warwickshire Golf and Country Club.
Colin Mander, regional director for Gardner Denver, said: “The event saw many of our key distributors joined by suppliers and Gardner Denver internal teams for a great day’s golfing that even included a hole in one.
“In one day, we have raised enough money to part-fund clinical trails across the West Midlands area, just one small thing that will hopefully make a difference in the fight against cancer.”
