A REDDITCH-based business has been honoured with a prestigious award at the House of Commons following its involvement with a leading supermarket chain to reduce water usage and wastage.
Staff at Utilitywise, based at Ravensbank Business Park, received a Green Apple Environment Award last Monday (November 16) – beating off 500 other nominations to secure a ‘Silver’ accolade.
Throughout the initiative, the team were able to reduce consumption by a proven 50,000m3 a year – that’s enough water to supply over 300 households for a year.
