A REDDITCH nursery has been made more than 100 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
Ragamuffins Day Nursery aimed to make 100 boxes for under privileged children for Christmas and have exceed their target.
They raised money through a sponsored one mile walk and pyjama days to raise money for the contents. In each box they have out a a doll or car and toiletries such as toothpaste and tooth brushes.
Nursery worker, Chloe Shayler, said: “As we work with children we thought it was a good cause to get involved in and the children really enjoyed making the shoeboxes.
“They also watched the video of the children opening the boxes and really enjoyed being part of it.”
