REDDITCH MP Karen Lumley visited the Worcestershire Royal Hospital on Monday, (December 21) to see for herself the neo-natal facilities there.
Karen said of the visit: “Following removal of the neo-natal facilities from the Alex in Redditch during November, I wanted to see for myself what facilities were available in Worcester.
“I spoke to some Redditch mums who all said that they had received a very positive experience at the Worcestershire Royal.”
Karen also talked to staff on the unit and was very impressed with the amenities available to mums.
She also raised with Trust Chairman Harry Turner the issue of car parking which is a continuing source of concern to residents visiting the hospital.
Karen will be making her annual Christmas Day visit to patients at the Alexandra Hospital on Friday.
