REDDITCH park runners will now have a spring in their step after Rob Underwood of the Charlotte and Craig Saving Hearts Foundation donated a debrillator to the group.
Parkrun is a popular five kilometre challenge held every Saturday around Arrow Valley Lake attracting up to 400 runners each week.
“With the start of the new year I imagine there will be a lot more runners lining up at the start and with a defibrillator close by it just adds a little bit more peace of mind,” said Rob.
Redditch parkrun recently named the Charlotte and Craig Saving Hearts Foundation as their charity of the year so others can benefit from having the lifesaving kit close at hand.
Parkrun is free to enter. For details visit http://www.parkrun.org.uk/arrowvalley/ .
