Redditch Editorial 25th Jan, 2016 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

POLICE are appealing to Hollywood residents for information after a wallet, containing various cards and a driving licence, and a Satellite Navigation system was stolen from a vehicle parked on Alcester Road.

The offender, or offenders, entered the vehicle with ease without breaking into it, although the owner believes it had been left secure.

The incident took place between 8pm on Thursday (January 21) and 7.30am on Friday (January 22).

A similar theft also took place on nearby Simon Road between 10pm on Thursday (January 21) and 9am on Friday (January 22) where loose change was taken from the centre console of a vehicle parked on a driveway.

The thief, or thieves, gained entry to the vehicle by unknown means and made off with the cash after an untidy search inside.

Anyone with any information should call police on 101 quoting incident number 22DL/4859F/16 with regards to the Alcester Road theft and 22DL/4864/16 of the Simon Road incident.

Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers, by calling 0800555111.
