REDDITCH companies were praised in Parliament on Monday (January 25) for the work they’ve done in creating so many apprenticeships.
Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Childcare and Education, Sam Gyimah MP, congratulated the town after Redditch MP Karen Lumley asked a question on future apprenticeships to Education Secretary Nicky Morgan.
“With over 3,000 apprenticeships created in Redditch since 2010, will my Right Hon Friend tell me how we are going to ensure we get another 3,000 by 2020,” asked Mrs Lumley.
Mr Gyimah commended the town for its efforts, and added youngsters should be ‘given all the opportunities to fulfil their potential.’
