LOCAL patients are sure to be affected after talks to agree a new junior doctor contract foundered today (Monday, February 1).
In response, the British Medical Association confirmed that industrial action scheduled for next Wednesday, February 10, will go ahead.
Rather than a full walkout, this industrial action will take the form of 24-hour emergency care only, beginning at 8am and ending at 8am on Thursday, February 11.
Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust will be taking steps to minimise the impact on patients.
