A REDDITCH woman has started a unique business baking organic treats for man’s best friend.
Charli Newton, of Webheath, has spent the last 12 months setting up Murphy’s Bakery after spending years making biscuits for her own springer spaniel.
The 25-year-old has set up her online company to sell the goodies for much the same price as most brands at the local supermarket.
“When I looked at what they put into the dog food they sell at the supermarket I couldn’t believe how many preservatives are put in. So I decided to make my own,” said Charli.
“People are concerned these days with what they eat themselves but not their pets. This is so easy and the same price, so why not?”
