REDDITCH Borough Council will be lending its support to online safety day tomorrow (Tuesday).
Throughout the day (February 9), messages will be posted on social media about the best ways to stay safe on the net along with discussing scams, passwords, URLs, Social Media, virus emails, anti-virus software and what to do if you get hacked.
Customer services officers will also join forces with West Mercia Police officers at the town’s library to offer help and advice.
Jennifer Delorenzo, assistant customer support manager, said: “If you know of someone who might be vulnerable online, encourage them to pay us a visit tomorrow at the Library or pass on any of the advice you see through social media.
“Most of what we do nowadays involves the internet or some form of technology so being safe and secure online is more important than ever.”
