A REDDITCH club which provides support to the community has raised £3,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.
The Lion Club ran Fun Run at the end of last year and were able to donate the proceeds to the Rory The Robot Appeal, which helps fund new technology in Worcestershire to be used during surgery on patients with prostate cancer.
They handed over the cheque on Tuesday (February 9) in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre and thanked the other projects in Redditch which got involved.
Rory’s assistance in hospitals means the sufferer will experience less pain, less blood loss and will recover quicker with less complications.
