Redditch Editorial 20th Feb, 2016 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

PUBLIC-spirited youngsters at 1st Studley Beavers have been busy supporting their local community and finding out more about the activities of the Arden Foodbank in the village.

It’s all part of work towards their Community Impact Challenge Badge and they have spent the last three months learning about the important work of the volunteers from the foodbank and how it helps and supports people not only in Studley but also in the surrounding area.

Volunteers from the foodbank came to talk to the children and showed them the kinds of foods that can help families make healthy and nutritious meals.

The children then made posters to promote the foodbank and concluded their badge work with a final collection.

Kim Dobbs of 1st Studley Beavers said: “We would like to thank all the parents for the generous donations.”
