A FEW new faces will be welcoming guests to Matchborough First School Academy in the site’s entrance hall this week.
Thanks to the ‘Metal Mickey’ challenge, a host of robots will welcome visitors to the site and ensure the school’s reception runs like clockwork.
The robots sprung to life on Wednesday (February 25) during a robot workshop, which saw a group of Year 2 children team up with their dads, grandads and uncles to create a free-standing robot using a variety of recycled materials.
The challenge saw some fantastic creations and some even have moving parts and flashing lights.
