TIDY-MINDED Church Hill residents can sweep their way to cleaning success this weekend – all in honour of the Queen’s 90th birthday and an ancient monument.
Church Hill Big Local Partnership have teamed up with Moon’s Moat Conservation Group (MMCG) to not only get Church Hill spick and span in time for the monarch’s big day, but to help raise awareness of Moon’s Moat scheduled ancient monument.
A warm invitation is extended to anyone who would like to get involved with the litter pick and help in the clearing process.
Participants will be able to meet the Big Local Team and members of MMCG, who are currently looking for new members.
Litter-picks and ‘Clean for the Queen’ refuse sacks will be distributed among the volunteers, which have been loaned from Redditch Borough Council.
The team will meet in a large green gazebo off Arley Close in front of the monument at 10am and the event will run until 1pm.
Hot drinks and cake will be available to all volunteers.
