Car stolen in Hollywood and later involved in crash

POLICE are appealing for help after a car which was stolen from a Hollywood home during a burglary was involved in a non-stop collision on Monday (February 29).

The burglary and subsequent car theft happened between 12.45am and 5.15am when the offender, or offenders, managed to access a property in Oakwood Road by unknown means and make off with  a set of car keys for a vehicle parked on the driveway.

The car was then involved in a collision on Packhorse Lane just after 5.15am and was abandoned a short distance away on Gay Hill Lane in Wythall.

Police say there is no sign of forced entry to the address and nothing else was taken.
