A CALL has been made to tidy up the eyesores of the old Griffin pub and the former Roy’s Bikes in Studley.
The plea was made parish councillor Maureen Rickhards in support of the Studley in Bloom team who are trying to smarten the village up for the Britain in Bloom competition.
“People are getting more and more distressed about these two sites so is there anything we can do as they both look awful,” said Coun Rickhards.
District councillor Hazel Wright said the local authority had a policy for the rehabilitation of derelict sites and it was agreed Stratford should be contacted with a view to getting the two sites improved.
