A MAN had to be rescued by Redditch fire crews yesterday (Monday) after becoming trapped on the roof of a property in Batchley by high winds thanks to Storm Katie.
Two fire crews from the town’s station and an Incident Support Vehicle from Droitwich attended the scene on Hazel Road following a call to emergency services at 1.07pm.
Firefighters used a nine-metre ladder to help bring the man to safety.
