THE Easter Walk of Witness attracted hundreds of followers on Good Friday and Redditch churches united to mark the most important festival in the Christian calendar.
Leaving from the Baptist Church in Easemore Road, followers visited several locations around the town centre carrying a giant 15ft cross before ending its journey at St Stephens.
On the way they handed out more than 550 hot cross buns and lots of palm crosses, singing hymns and re-telling the Easter story.
