TWO big hearted sisters are holding an art sale this Sunday to raise money to combat acute leukaemia – at the tender age of four and six.

Proud dad Spencer Gregg said he couldn’t believe when daughter Mia, aged six, came up with the idea after hearing that a friend of mum Michelle’s had died from the disease.

“It was entirely her idea – she wanted to do a cake and art sale for charity and together with her sister Mollie May they’ve basically turned our house into an art gallery,” said Spencer.

“The two of them have spent almost their entire Easter holiday doing paintings, they’ve given a name to each one and they’re now hanging on the walls of the house.”

Meanwhile another friend of the family, Deborah Cooper, is running the London Marathon tto raise money for the same cause.

The sale is this Sunday, April 3 from 2pm to 5pm at the family’s home at 459 Birmingham Road, Redditch. Artwork and cakes will be on sale and all money raised will go to charity.
