ON-SONG Alcester Male Voice Choir are tuning up to take Birmingham Town Hall by storm when they stage a concert there later this month.

The event will showcase the versatility of the singers as they perform both popular and more obscure numbers that are sure to thrill the audience.

Judith Land BEM, choir founder and director of music, said: “We shall be supported by the Elliott Rooney Quartet and 13-year-old Billy Vale, from Studley, who will be singing with the choir as well as performing some songs solo.

“For this concert I have now added an additional item to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday and am encouraging the audience to wear a small item of red, white and blue or bring along a small Union flag.”

Tickets for the concert are £20 and £22.50 from 07860 379668 or via [email protected]

Coach travel is also available from seven local pick-up points.
