A KIND-HEARTED Redditch girl has donated 12 inches of hair to charity after she was inspired by other youngsters who cut their locks for good causes.

Bethany Green donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust, who make wigs for children who have lost their hair to cancer, as it is a cause close to her and mum, Liz’s hearts, as her grandmother is just getting over breast cancer and a family friend is losing her battle with the disease.

The seven-year-old was due to go for her regular trim when she saw other children on the internet and on social media who had given their hair and raised money for charity.

She has now raised more than £150 and is loving her new hairstyle which has more meaning than just another glamorous do.

Liz said: “We are so proud and so chuffed, she has such a kind heart, and doing it for The Little Princess Trust is close to us as my mom is just getting over cancer and my good friend only has months to live.

” Bethany is an inspiration to us all. She is loving her new hair cut and keeps brushing it and putting it different styles and of course looking in the mirror.”
