REDDITCH mum Sharon Avery is also in the running for the London Marathon on April 24.
The historic cases policewoman is rugby mad and is aiming to collect as much cash as possible for the Rugby Football Union’s Injured Players Foundation which cares for former players from grassroots upwards who have suffered catastrophic injuries.
It will be her first attempt at the run after doing a couch to 5k course last year – and has won the backing of Prince Harry after meeting him at Twickenham.
