BEST-selling author Cathy Cassidy paid a return visit to Woodfield Academy last Friday (April 29) where she chatted to pupils about her latest new book, Broken Heart Club, as well as supplying the youngsters with lots of inspiration for their own reading and writing.
Cathy is one of the UK’s top selling children’s authors and has twice won the prestigious ‘Queen of Teen’ Award.
A former art teacher, agony aunt and magazine editor, she tours extensively around the UK, meeting with more than 10,000 young readers each year.
