A MAN has been held in custody after he smashed house windows and damaged a fish and chip shop in Alvechurch.
Police received several calls from concerned residents who spotted the man vandalising the Tudor Rose fish bar and the homes on Bear Hill at 7pm yesterday (Monday).
Three squad cars and an ambulance arrived at the scene and detained the man under the Mental health Act.
