A TELECOMS Industry Technology Awareness Event for former soldiers organised by Sambourne-based Ubi-Tech (3R) Ltd attracted 150 exhibitors, guest speakers, and delegates from the armed forces.
Falklands War veteran Simon Weston CBE gave the opening address at the event, at Worcester Warriors RFC, which gave telecoms employers an opportunity to have direct contact with armed forces leavers and to find out for themselves the incredible quality and calibre of those who serve our country.
The majority of the Ubi-Tech team have served in HM Armed Forces and are committed to ensuring that service leavers enjoy the best support, advice, retraining and assistance they can get as they make the transition from service to civilian life.
Ubi-Tech specialises in re-training ex-forces personnel in the telecoms industry.
