Alert after thieves steal saddles, horse rugs and more from Feckenham stables

HORSE tack, including saddles with gel pads, numbers, girths, stirrup leather, horse rugs and bridles – some of which have a green and orange brow bands in the Grand National colours – have been stolen from stables at a property in Berrowhill Lane, Feckenham.

The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday (August 3) and on the same evening there was a further albeit unsuccessful attempt to break into the garage of a nearby property.

Recently, two suspicious vehicles were seen in the vicinity, one a small white van with a towbar, and with a a circle in grey, displaying ‘Interior and Furniture’.

The driver is described as a white male, aged about 50 with short grey hair and of slim build.




The second vehicle, a Silver Ford Focus Mk 1, was seen around midnight on August 3.
