Redditch's Black Tap pulls off birthday bash

THE Black Tap Brew Pub in Church Green East was alive with sounds of birthday celebrations last weekend, writes Sue Binns.

This gem of a watering hole celebrated its first birthday in great style and furnished a steady stream of merriment with tasty beers and ciders.

There was plenty of live entertainment too, Lekka Vibe opening with great harmonies while Steph Bubb treated revellers to two sets of strings, violin and guitar and pure voice tones.

The music carried on well into the evening and ended with a jam session for anyone who wanted to take part. An unexpected and special rendition of ‘A Horse with no Name’ by Len Moss called ‘A Bike with no Chain’ had everyone in the vicinity singing and giggling along with the chorus.
