A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious burns following an out of control bonfire in Alvechurch last night (Tuesday).
Emergency services were called to the home on Birmingham Road at about 7pm after the man caught fire whilst burning conifers in his back garden.
An air ambulance made its way to the incident but was not needed.
A doctor arrived on scene to treat the man who was then taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
