AN event billed as Studley’s biggest coffee morning, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, is to take place at the Artists’ Workhouse on Redditch Road next Friday, September 30.
Organised by Sian Smith of Cloverleaf Business Development, the event will run from 10am to 12 noon and feature top quality coffee from Stratford coffee roasters Monsoon Estates as well as lots of cake and a ‘Great Studley Bake Off’ competition.
Sian is vice chair of the Studley in Business group and has been busy urging local firms to get baking and sponsor their cake in the competition.
“So far I have around 12 entries for the Bake Off and we also have a prize draw and there will be a chance to explore the Artists’ Workhouse which will be opened up just for us.
“I really hope to get as many local businesses and residents involved as possible – this is a great opportunity for us to get together. Any chance to strengthen our local links is an opportunity to keep the businesses in our village thriving.”
