RESIDENTS in Alcester and Studley are being invited to have a go at setting Warwickshire County Council’s budget as part of its Let’s Talk programme.

The council recently announced that it faces making savings of around £67million by 2020 and launched the Let’s Talk campaign to give the people of Warwickshire an opportunity to talk about what is important to them.

In addition to a series of roadshows taking place around the county the council has also launched a new online budget calculator.

The software, available through www.warwickshire.gov.uk/letstalk, allows users to have a go at setting a budget and shows how adjusting spend in one area can impact on other services and will be available until Friday, October 21.

The council’s Let’s Talk roadshow will be in Alcester this Saturday (October 8) from 10am to 12noon at Alcester Market in the High Street.
