Help at hand for a toasty Redditch this winter at town's library

REDDITCH residents can get help and advice about vital services available to them at the latest ‘warmer winter’ event this Thursday.

The latest event offering information and advice to residents about keeping warm and saving money will be in Redditch Library from 10am until 2pm on Thursday (November 17).

A number of organisations will be on hand on the day to offer information including AgeUK, Herefordshire and Worcestershire Fire and Rescue Service, Act on Energy, Care and Repair, NEW Lifeline and Severn Trent Water.

Bring along an energy bill to get help with switching energy suppliers to save money

Get tips and freebies to help reduce their water bill


Find out about smart meters – accurate bills without having to read the meter or let a stranger into your house

Bromsgrove homeowners – help for low, fixed income households with broken or inefficient heating, improving home insulation and essential home repairs.

Information about telecare services – pendant buttons, phones, linked smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and more to give people confidence to continue to live independently in their own home.
