THE Kingfisher Shopping Centre has gained national recognition for its outstanding customer service after being awarded WorldHost Recognised Business status.
The WorldHost programme has been used to train thousands of volunteers and staff at the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympics who were widely praised for the fantastic welcome they gave to visitors and is now being rolled out across customer facing businesses across the UK.
Ken Williams, centre manager at Kingfisher Shopping Centre, said: “We are passionate about service standards and are incredibly proud to have achieved WorldHost Recognised Business status. Enhancing customer experience is an integral part of our business.
“Our customer service desk over the years has become a key customer touchpoint and plays a crucial role in assisting shoppers on their visits to the centre. We also have a dedicated Customer Service host, Nicki Bradley, to support and encourage each individual team member to improve customer service delivery.
“Kingfisher Shopping Centre is visited by many frequent loyal shoppers and we truly believe that one of the reasons why they shop with us is because of excellent and personable service we provide. We look forward to welcoming shoppers into our centre over the festive period and delivering an outstanding service to each and every one of them.”
