THE cheers went off the scale when Pudsey Bear visited Tardebigge First School last week as part of his ‘Treasure Chest’ tour.
Officially dubbed ‘the noisiest school’ by the big hearted BBC fund raising bear, he joined them at their morning assembly in St Bartholomew’s Church to the absolute delight of the children.
They were all decked out in spots for Pudsey’s ‘Spotacular’ arrival and queued up to drop their donations into his treasure chest before having their photos taken with him.
Sue Atkins from the school said: “The children were all sky high and I think by asking him to join us for assembly in church we offered something a little different on his tour.”
