Redditch police appeal after pallets of body building supplements stolen

Correspondent 22nd Nov, 2016   0

POLICE are appealing for witnesses or information following a burglary at a distribution centre in Redditch.

The incident happened sometime between 5pm on Wednesday (November 16) and 8am on Thursday (November 17) at a site on Acanthus Road in Moons Moat.

An unknown offender or offenders are believed to have entered the compound through the main access gate by cutting a chain.

After trying unsuccessfully to ram open a shutter door, they attempted to force open a fire door and window before managing to gain access through the main front door of the warehouse, causing significant damage.

It is then believed that a goods vehicle has been reversed into the warehouse and a separate shutter door has been opened to allow a number of pallets containing various body building supplements to be taken.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that could help investigations and ask people to call 101, quoting incident number 84s of November 17.

Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or via their website www.crimestoppers-uk.org
