STUDLEY in Bloom has joined with the local Co-op store for a very special Christmas lights switch on next Thursday (December 1) – and everyone is invited.
The multiple gold medal winning organisation clinched a silver gilt at its first attempt in the Britain in Bloom competition and now they’re turning their attention to the festive season to brighten up the A435 Alcester Road area of the village.
Together with major supporter the Co-op they’ll be flicking the switch on a grand Christmas tree on land between the entrance and exit of the supermarket.
Not only that but there will be mince pies galore and Santa Claus will be there too.
It’s all happening at 4.30pm on Thursday and promises to be a great festive event for all.
