THE leader of Redditch’s Conservative group has good reason to thank the Salvation Army after they helped her widowed grandmother bring up five children.
Now, years later, Councillor Juliet Brunner has been busy helping to say thank you with the help of her colleagues who as a group have donated a host of toys for the Sally Army’s Festive Toy Drive.
“Supporting the Salvation Army is very close to my heart as they as helped my Dad as a child,” said Coun Brunner (Con, M’boro)
“We are delighted to support them in their toy drive and thank them for the fantastic work they do all year round.”
