POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man in Redditch was attacked and dragged from a car by thieves who then stole the vehicle.
The car was stolen at around 7.45pm on Charles Street in Headless Cross last Tuesday (November 29) and police want to hear from anyone who has any information.
The victim, a man in his twenties, was sitting in the passenger seat, when he was dragged from the car, and assaulted by three men, who then stole the car.
He received slight injuries to his face.
One of the men was described as white, aged around 18-19, around 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, of skinny build with short brown hair. He was wearing all black clothing. The second man was described as white, aged around 18; around 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, of average build with short brown hair. No detailed description was given of the third man.
Police are urging anyone who may have been in the area at the time, and who may have witnessed the incident to contact them by calling 101.
They also want anyone who may have seen the silver Renault Clio Expression, 5 Door Saloon with the registration number PJ51XBT, since the incident to report its whereabouts to the police.
