Redditch musicians come together in aid of Nightstop

BIG hearted musicians are coming together next week to hold an open-mic night in aid of Redditch Nightstop.

Next Thursday, (December 15) the event at Woodland Cottage in Mount Pleasant will feature performances from a host of musicians including Imaner, and organiser Debbie Joynes is urging people to come along and support them.

“We are so excited to be joined on the night by some of our favourite musos – The Sophia Vassalos Band, and Carrick,” she said.

“Come along and play us a few tunes and put some coins in the tin, or contribute a set of tea towels…..every donation – no matter how big or small – will go a very long way.”

While the event is free to attend, donations of household items are being collected for Redditch Nightstop, which supports people between the age of 18 and 25 who are homeless in Redditch.

Debbie added: “We are so appreciative of the work they do and we want to show our support by raising both money and donations of houshold goods that the charity can pass on to people in need at Christmas and throughout the year ahead.”

Event organisers Debbie and Dave are also giving their fee for the night to the charity, matching every pound collected.
