SEVERAL generations came together on Wednesday (December 7) as a Redditch nursery hosted a festive morning of arts and crafts and biscuit-making for both the parents and grandparents of the youngsters.
The Christmas themed event at the Little Bears Nursery in Enfield, proved popular across the generations and a lot of fun was had as they made Christmas cards, glitter decorations and painted together.
A spokesperson for the nursery said: “We love to involve grandparents in our activity days such as this and we were very impressed with the number who attended.
“It is very popular with the grandparents and we had more than 80 join us for our summer tea party event this year. In this day and age, a lot of grandparents care for their grandchildren so we feel it is important to include them.”
