THE three Police and Crime Commissioners in the West Midlands have united to produce a survey into cyber crime.
They are appealing for people to take part, whether they’ve been victims or not in an effort to build a more comprehensive picture of online crime and help shape support for victims.
Such is the growth in cyber crime that we two and a half times more likely to become a victim of internet fraud than any other crime.
The cost of internet related criminality is estimated at between £18bn and £27bn nationally per year.
The survey is aimed at the individual, including young people, rather than organisations.
It is open unitl January 9, 2017 and only takes a few minutes to complete. To access it click https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/RegionalCyber16
