HOME Instead Senior Care, an at-home care company which services clients in Redditch and Bromsgrove, has entered the knitting spirit, making twiddle muffs and fiddle cushions for clients living with dementia. The handmade crafts will be given to their clients in time for Christmas.
Twiddle muffs are knitted hand muffs with interesting bits and bobs attached. Many people with Alzheimer’s, arthritis and dementia find them comforting and therapeutic as they help encourage movement and brain stimulation.
