A WOMAN shopper gave as good as she got when a thief tried to snatch her handbag outside Waitrose in Alcester.
The offender grabbed her bag but the woman quickly snatched it back, leading the perpetrator to walk off towards the council-owned side of the car park.
The bag snatcher is described as being a white male, 6′ 2″ tall and wearing a light coloured baseball cap, black puffa jacket and blue jeans.
He joined a second male, described as a black and wearing a black ‘Adidas’ hoodie, blue jeans and black trainers with white soles.
The incident happened on Thursday, December 30 at 2.40pm and enquiries aere ongoing and police say if anyone saw these men or the theft please to contact them on 101 quoting the Incident number 0212 30/12/2016.
