AUDI owners are warned to take care as a spate of burglaries across Warwickshire have targeted houses where there are new Audi vehicles visible.
Over the past weeks, criminals have broken into the houses, thought to be specifically targeted because they have Audis parked outside, searching for the keys to the cars.
Police are advising people to keep the keys to Audi, and other high powered vehicles, out of sight but to leave them downstairs so that the thieves have no reason to go upstairs where residents may be sleeping.
Audi owners are also advised to give consideration to increasing the security measures on their vehicles with trackers and vehicle immobilisers.
