Police officers are appealing for witnesses to a suspected arson in Redditch.
The incident happened in a flat in High Trees Close around 5.30pm on Saturday (January 14).
No-one was home or injured at the time of the blaze, which was quickly contained by firefighters who also made the premises safe.
Investigations into the fire are ongoing and officers are keeping an open mind as to the cause but it is believed a person or persons unknown may have deliberately set alight the contents of a bin store, which was located next to the front door of the property.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the fire or who saw people acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident.
