NOMINATIONS for the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s annual business Awards are now officially open and local businesses are being encouraged to enter.
The annual business Awards, sponsored by Sanlam, celebrate the achievements of local businesses in a number of categories including ‘Best use of Technology’, ‘Most Promising New Business’ and ‘Employer of the Year’.
Some categories provide the opportunity for businesses to be entered into the national British Chambers of Commerce Awards. Winners from Herefordshire and Worcestershire have previously continued to win their category for the West Midlands and the UK, achieving regional and national recognition.
Entering is free to members and non-members of the Chamber and once completed, applications will be judged and shortlisted before all finalists will be invited to the ceremony, described as one of the highlights in the business events calendar, will this year take place at the Worcester Arena on in June.
The awards not only recognise the achievements of local businesses, but offer a chance to raise company profiles, boost staff moral and network with other businesses in the area.
