CHILDREN and staff at a Studley nursery have been celebrating and marking a milestone birthday as the business turns 18.
In January 1999, the first Bright Kids Nursery opened its doors to children and this week children at the Studley site were treated to a celebratory 18th birthday party with a Disney theme complete with birthday cake and old fashioned party games like pass-the-parcel and musical statues.
For the party on Wednesday (January 18) the outdoor area was even transformed into a Frozen-themed wonderland with icy games and activities to mark the occasion.
Deputy manager Tina Davis said: “All the staff at the nursery agreed that a Disney theme would be wonderful for the party. It was a fantastic way to celebrate.”
