POLICE in Redditch are appealing for witnesses after a woman was approached by a man with his hands down his trousers.
The incident happened shortly before 9am on Tuesday 17 January at a bus stopin Winyates Way, opposite Ibstock Close.
The man came out of bushes and crossed the road towards the woman, but did not speak to her nor touch her.
He was fully clothed but had his hands inside his trousers.
The woman ran across the road and onto a bus to get away from the man, who is described as white, 6ft tall, wearing a black coat with a grey hooded top underneath and blue jeans. He had a black scarf across his face.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information which would help them with their enquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident 113S of 17 January.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency and is on police bail until Thursday (February 9) pending further enquiries.
